A Link I Like: The 22 Most Shocking Moments of Twin Peaks: The Return

I’m still trying to process the Twin Peaks season. I’m honestly not really sure what was really happening at any point in the past few months, but it was weird and entertaining. I enjoyed the experience of it, and especially loved the attention given to the auditory side of the show, more so than the original. The use of contemporary music, the use of the original themes, the sound design by Lynch himself (in every pass of the credits that I watched), the “musical guests” component of it, the periods of silence or repeated sounds–sometimes these things seemed like the primary intent.. like watching a music video where what you see is secondary to what you hear.

Anyway!… all of that to say, I’m about to read this article. If you want to discuss the season as you saw it, I’d be glad to hear it.
